We're all superfluous

I call it "Josh Looking At Rob The Chicken Nest With Amusement As Crow Flies Above And Pointy Mountain Letting Off Steam."

I think Rob looks particularly fashionable. And I hope that someday I'll have my own crow to fly about my head. In the mountains.

Sorry for not having blogged in a while! I've got Josh's Moleskine right now, still working on it... I've been quite busy with commissions lately, so I apologize for the lack of communication! I'll get Josh's drawing finished soon though :}

Hope everyone doesn't mind, but I did up a quick header and will add Gabi's entry when she posts her portrait (hence the black gap). ;) Let me know if anyone wants changes or has objections. I know they aren't in order ;)

Done with Julie's book !

I just finished Julie's book, it was sitting at my drawing table waiting for some final touches which I finally got to. I'm way happier with the portrait I did of Julie than the one of myself but all in all I'm pretty satisfied. This will be on it's way to Josh very soon. Julie I hope you like it ! Oh and I received Death by Monkey's book the other day so I'll have some photos of that soon. It's kind of fun playing catch up, I like the pressure !! Thanks again to everyone for their patience.

All done with Claire's Moly

All done, and quite a learning experience trying out some of the tips I've garnered from artists on dealing with the yellow card stock of the books versus water based mediums. I've tried to tie in way the ocean and water relate to Claire's bio & beautiful gallery works, so hopefully this isn't to strange!

I'll be passing the book on to Aaron tomorrow, and moving on to Son's, base coat of paint already dried overnight now.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!

I actually made an incredibly stupid mistake when I wrote your address Josh, and received my book in the mail since no one picked it up it was sent back. It's in my possession. I apologize for the mistake and the book is being sent out tomorrow in the morning in a nice new envelope with the correct address. I am 90% finished with Julie's so I'll ship mine first and then I'll ship Julie's to Josh in a day or two. I'm a little behind, been busy with some things that I'm not too happy about. But I'm here and I'm still excited to get these rolling. Sorry to everyone for the inconvenience I will be on top of these !!!!!!!

Lost in mail?

Great work so far everyone.

Rob sent me his moly over a month ago, and I still haven't received it. I checked with my local PO and they're not holding it hostage (or so they claim). Media mail can be painfully slow sometimes, so I haven't given up hope.

What do we do in the worst case scenario?

Hi everyone!

Have you guys got some news from Gabi? I sent her a Flickr Mail last week but got no response. And Son has not received anything from her yet, no book, no e-mail neither... Gabi, please leave a comment to tell us how things are going for you. I hope you still want to take part to this exchange.

I though that if Josh (LarsP) has not sent his book to Gabi yet, he could send it to Son, for this first round only, so that would keep the books moving and let some time to Gabi to finish her entry... What do you guys think about that? I don't want to rush anybody...
